Idaho Laugh Fest back for another year

December 2, 2016 by

A popular comedy festival will soon be back to tickle Boise funny bones once again.

The four-day Idaho Laugh Fest will bring together comedians who will perform a variety of styles, including standup, musical humor, and improv. In addition to this, they will be facilitating a series of workshops that will give members of the public an opportunity to hone their skills in storytelling, the business of standup comedy, and improvisation. The featured performers for the festival include Cory Michaels, Matt Bragg, and Fortune Feimste, and it will also showcase the talents of dozens of other performers. Banners and other themed decorations for an event such as this can be supplied by a printer.

Monies raised through the events will be used to help support the not-for-profit group A New Beginning Adoption Agency in its goal of connecting children who need homes with parents looking to adopt. The organizers of the festival have also put out a call for volunteers to lend a hand over the four days, and anyone who is interested can find out more on its website.

The Idaho Laugh Fest will run from January 12 until 15. Tickets prices for the different activities range from free to $30 each. Some of the performances will be family friendly, while others are for adults only. Further details, as well as an opportunity to purchase tickets, can be found on the festival’s website.
