Victorville to host county fair later this month

May 3, 2018 by

The San Bernardino County Fair is coming to Victorville later this month, and advanced sales of tickets are up by tenfold from the past several years.

Geoff Hinds, General Manager of the fair, said that there are new attractions and food vendors and “one of the best musical lineups in recent history.” He added that the fair has been getting a great deal of support from various types of media, radio stations, and promotional companies who want to be a part of the activities. Most likely many types of promotional products are being used as well to get the word out about such a substantial event.

Among the top sales are tickets for Dylan Scott, a country singer, and LANCO, a band nominated for an American Country Music Award. Also performing will be Lifehouse, the Gin Blossoms, and Blue Oyster Cult.

There will also be competitive exhibits at the fair of various kinds of livestock and exotic animals, as well as contests, demonstrations, guest speakers, and displays of crafts and artwork. Clowns, jugglers, and comedians will stroll the grounds with food offerings including fair favorites such as turkey legs, corn dogs, funnel cakes, and cotton candy.

The fair will take place from May 19 through May 21, and over Memorial Day weekend from May 24 through May 28.
