United States military personnel will be honored with an appreciation day later this month by Dippin’ Dots, LLC at Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro.

CEO of Dippin’ Dots, Scott Fisher, said that the company recognizes the sacrifices made by the men and women who serve in the military every day of the year. In return, the company is offering them and their families a sweet and cool treat at Six Flags America.

Military IDs will need to be presented to the staff from Dippin’ Dots at the ticketing plaza at the park. Vouchers will be given to the military guest and their families for one five-ounce cup of Dippin’ Dots in the park.

Dave Johnson, Marketing Director for Six Flags America, said the company is looking forward to this special day for military personnel and their families.

The military appreciation day will be held this Saturday, July 22. Events like these can be promoted with the assistance of print companies to create flyers and other materials that can be distributed throughout the greater Washington D.C./Baltimore area to those in the military and their families.

Dippin’ Dots, located in Paducah, Kentucky, is a maker of flash-frozen tiny beads of sherbet, yogurt, ice cream, and flavored ice products. The company was set up in 1988 by university graduate Curt Jones.
