New luxury development opens in Upper Marlboro

A master-planned community in Upper Marlboro called Marlboro Ridge, developed by Toll Brothers, recently opened. It features plenty of open space where horses can roam as part of a state-of-the-art equestrian facility.

There are over 250 acres of natural greenery, as well as biking, walking, and equestrian trails, together with tennis courts, soccer fields, and playgrounds. Other amenities include a clubhouse with a banquet hall, fitness center, swimming pools, and conference rooms.

Options for living include both townhouses and single-family houses in various sizes.

Many singular features highlight these homes. The lower level has a powder room and large recreation room. The main level has a formal dining room with recessed lights, although natural light enters the room through three large windows.

In the back are the kitchen and family rooms. An oversize curved breakfast bar is the focus of the kitchen and enables hosting gatherings of friends and family, or casual dining events. The family room is next to the kitchen and has a fireplace and a glass door, which opens onto a deck as wide as the house. Vaulted ceilings are the main feature of all the bedrooms.

Brochures are often used for developments such as this one to provide potential residents with more details about the general amenities and features of the houses and their rooms.
