January 31, 2018 by

Prego Mediterranean has opened at 2409 Park Avenue in Tustin. Replacing the Bluewater Grill, the restaurant was previously located in Irvine.

The restaurant has an open dining room that seats 75 people and a bar. It has a covered patio, fireplace, and lounge.

Head chef Ugo Allesina will continue to be in charge of the culinary team, with his two decade of experience in the kitchen. He plans to create new items for the menu, having worked in hotels and restaurants in Italy, Germany, and the U.S. When creating new dishes he will use fresh local produce, meats and seafood.

New appetizers on the menu are seasonal hummus served on flatbread. It has three flavors mushroom and truffle, sun-dried tomato, and roasted garlic basil.

Allesina has created a new seasonal beet salad called Golden Beets. It uses greens, yellow beets, goat cheese, onion, and balsamic dressing.

A new seasonal entrée is sole stuffed with shrimp and lobster. The white wine sauces is flavored with lemon, garlic, and capers.

Open for lunch and dinner, the menu has soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, chicken, seafood, lamb chops, steak, pasta, ravioli, short ribs, and burgers. It serves wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, and is open for lunch and dinner daily.

Tustin printing companies can help businesses, restaurants, clubs, schools, and nonprofit organizations with promotional products for special events and advertising.
