The Warner Theater and the KidsPlay Museum will be hosting their fourth KidsPlay Family Fun Fair in February.

Over 1,100 attendees are expected for the one-day event, which will be a day to celebrate community, family, and fun.

Families can examine museum exhibits, and children will be invited to participate in creative activities. Some of these will be balloon twisting, face painting, and hands-on arts and crafts.

High-quality shows will be presented on the stage, and entertainers will be meandering through the crowds meeting, plying their trades, and talking with the children.

Community nonprofit and public sector organizations along with family-oriented businesses will be discussing, displaying, and passing out flyers on information about their goods and services, such as dental and medical care and other local resources. Some will be holding free eye screenings, giving away child ID kits, and distributing information about camp and childcare.

New this year, the Community Family Learning Center and the Torrington Early Childhood Collaborative will be aiding local school systems that will be manning information tables. Also this year the KidsPlay Museum will open its doors during fair hours, and fair admission will include admission to the museum.

The Kidsplay Family Fun Fair will be in the Main Stage Lobby in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre, 82 Main Street and will be on Sunday, February 18 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
