Time to register for summer camp in Torrance

May 16, 2017 by

The community of Torrance has organized a summer of fun for its younger residents, and registration for these activities will soon open.

Torrance will be hosting camps during the summer school break, and they will offer fun for children of all ages. The kids who sign up will be able to participate in organized outdoor games, create an assortment of crafts to take home with them, go for supervised walking field trips and much more. Once a week, a special, longer excursion will take place, and extended care can be accessed, at an additional cost, by any families that need it.

The camps will run from June 26th until September 1st, and will be held in La Romeria Park, Greenwood Park, and also Wilson Park. The fees that will be charged will range from between $130.00 to $155.00 per child per week. Brochures, flyers and other promotional materials for community based summer children’s activities such as this can be supplied by an area print company.

Registration for these popular summer camps will open on May 31. Parents or caregivers are reminded to register early, and they can sign their son or daughter up from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Registration Office, which can be found at 3031 Torrance Boulevard. More information has been made available on the community’s website.
