The Mariachi USA Festival will be celebrating its 28th birthday early in July. It prides itself for being a premier world mariachi music fest.

Top Mariachi bands from Mexico and the U.S. will be featured along with folkloric dances. Fireworks will be the event finale.

The four top mariachi groups that will be performing will be Mariachi Los Camperos De Nati Cano, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlan, Mariachi Los Reyes and Mariachi Sol De Mexico De Jose Hernandez.

The Ballet Me Tierra will also be on the evening’s agenda. The Ballet Folklorico De Mi Tierra is based in Las Vegas and has been dancing interpretive innovative Mexican folk dance since its inception in 2015.

A non-profit organization, Mariachi USA Foundation sponsors mariachi music education for Los Angeles school age children. This and the festival are brain children of Ms Rodri J. Rodriguez who created the festival to:

“give mariachi music a forum for artistic expression and a way to celebrate the rich musical tradition”

The Mariachi USA festival will be held Saturday, July 1st at the Hollywood Bowl, 2301 Highland Avenue, Los Angeles. The performance will be from 6:30 pm until 10:30.

Two of the six seating areas have already been sold out so any Studio City mariachi music enthusiasts wishing to attend need to mark their calendars and get their reservations made as soon as possible.
