New initiative fixes college costs

A program recently announced at East Stroudsburg University will fix the tuition rate and mandatory fees for the next four years for those students who will be starting their freshman year in the fall.

Called the Warrior Promise, this program will help students to focus in their studies and reduce their college expenses, so they can graduate in four years, commented University President Marcia G. Welsh. Students and their families will also benefit as they will be able to better control their finances, and it removes any concerns about tuition increases every year.

This program, which guarantees a fixed rate of tuition for eight consecutive semesters, is the first of its kind to be offered by any of the public universities in Pennsylvania.

The program will be made available to transfer students and incoming first year students enrolling for the fall semester of 2018. New students who are accepted in an undergraduate degree program at the main campus of the college are also eligible.

Those who are currently students at the college can also get a fixed Warrior Promise rate as long as they will be enrolling for four years.

With the start of the new academic year a little more than six months away, printing services can be used to print various types of brochures and flyers with more details about the requirements and conditions of such programs.
