Stockton set to party New Orleans style

January 25, 2018 by

New Orleans will soon be hosting another Mardi Gras celebration, and Stockton residents can join in the fun without even having to leave their own home town.

The city’s historic Deliberation Room will be the venue for the occasion, and it will offer those who come out a chance to experience the look and feel of the French Quarter. It will feature a menu of Cajun-themed favorites, as well as music, entertainment, and a variety of other activities.

The food for the function will be supplied by A Moveable Feast, and it will include johnnycake, jambalaya, and an assortment of appetizers. While they eat, the guests can socialize and take in a show from Samba Conmigo. Those who wish to do so will even be able to show off their own dance moves and learn some new ones too.

A costume contest is on the agenda for the night, and soft drinks are included in the ticket price. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased by anyone who wishes to have one, and an assortment of drink specials will be on offer. A printer’s graphic design department will be able to craft an assortment of marketing materials for this type of large event.

This Stockton celebration of Fat Tuesday will be held on March 10 at 19 North California Street. More information can be found on the organizer’s Facebook page.
