Stockton seafood lovers unite

An event has been planned with Stockton seafood lovers in mind that will also serve as a fundraiser for a group that gives area youth an opportunity to have fun while learning leadership and life skills.

The Point Webber Sea Scouts will be hosting its first ever Crab Cioppino Dinner, and it will offer food, dancing, raffles, and fun with friends old and new. The tickets are being sold for $55.00 each, and everyone is welcome.

The meal will feature cioppino that will be made using sustainably harvested wild prawns, dungeness crab, clams, prawns, and fish, all of which will be smothered in savory tomato sauce crafted using the chef’s own special recipe. Two different lasagnas are also on the menu, as is a shrimp salad and freshly baked bread.

Along with the food, dancing is also on the agenda for the occasion. The tunes will be supplied by DJ Kenny, and a no host bar will also be on offer. All ages are invited to attend, and free parking will be provided.

The proceeds of the evening will be used by the Sea Scouts to help fund their activities, which promote leadership and a variety of employment skills, all while having fun with others their age. A printing services provider in the area will be able to supply any printed items needed to help make a function like this a success.
