St. Ann talks community

June 15, 2017 by

The Community Conversation at the Rock Road Branch Library is hosted by the St. Louis Public Library System and the Nine Network of Public Media, and is an open forum for everyone who wants to improve their community.

The Nine Network is the local PBS affiliate in the St. Louis region and is well known in the area as doing much more in the community than just hosting a TV Network. Aside from their covering of local events, they also organize regular community activities including workshops, demonstrations, and story time in their commons. They also post the calendars of local community organizations, providing a focal point for residents looking for the latest activities in the region.

As part of their community outreach the Nine Network is visiting the St. Ann library to listen to residents about their priorities. The event will be an open discussion where any member of the community can come up and discuss their wishes for the future as well as what they believe makes a city grow and thrive. The representatives from the network will join in the conversation and provide their own ideas for how to improve the area.

Community Conversation at the Rock Road Branch Library will be held on June 27 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at 10267 St. Charles Rock Rd. Attendance is free, but registration is required. Anyone looking for more information should visit the website.
