St. Ann gets networking

April 29, 2017 by

Entrepreneurs in the St. Ann region are pulling out their custom business cards for Business Networking 101.

The morning event gives business professionals in the area all the tools they need to boost their networks and increase their business.

The event is sponsored by the Grace Hill Women’s Business Center, which is providing on of its professional networking gurus, who will take participants through all the basic ins and outs of social business connections. The workshop will begin by covering icebreakers as a means of entering a conversation, and then move on to best practices when reconnecting with old contacts. The guru will finish by going over methods of leaving a lasting impression with a new contact.

The workshop will provide opportunities for guests to interact with each other while practicing the techniques discussed. However, they will also have an opportunity to network both before and after the event. A half hour refreshment period will provide participants with chances to not only practice the craft of networking, but also build some real business contacts in the St. Ann area.

Business Networking 101 will be held on May 20 from 9:00 am to noon at the Rock Road branch of the St. Louis County Library on St. Charles Rock Rd. Admission is free to the public. Anyone looking for more information should visit the website.
