Its location adjacent to the airport was once the home of a restaurant with a Polynesian theme from the 1970s. The d├ęcor had a Pacific Island flair infused with a South Asian style that, along with the sparkling lights of the airport, made for an elegant and charming atmosphere. It has been called one of the 10 most romantic restaurants by The Riverfront Times.

India Palace is known for its authentic Indian food, with specialties of the house including lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala, plus a range of desserts.

Restaurants on the move might consider using mailers or flyers to keep its guests informed of their moving date and anticipated opening in Maryland Heights.
