Hospital partnership enables expansion in East Texas

Texas Spine & Joint Hospital Inc. in Tyler recently entered into a partnership agreement with Baylor Scott & White, the largest nonprofit hospital system in the state, along with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).

A majority vote on all matters regarding the hospital will be held by Baylor, although Texas Spine & Joint Hospital will still be partially owned by physicians.

Chief executive officer of the hospital, Tony Wahl, commented that the hospital is looking forward to its partnership with Baylor and USPI so that it can expand its services and facilities to more communities in East Texas.

A spokesperson for Texas Spine & Joint, Jess Mowery, added a rebranding will take place for the hospital, the details of which have yet to be fully determined. USPI will provide a management capacity.

President and CEO of Baylor Scott & White Health, Jim Hinton, also expressed his excitement on behalf of the health system about its partnership with the many physicians and USPI so that the people of Smith County, Tyler, and all of East Texas can be better served.

Flyer printing companies can be used to create flyers that can be distributed throughout these communities so that residents become aware of the partnership, the new branding, and the many new services that will be made available to them.
