Sugar Land locals still have time to ride

July 30, 2012 by

Residents of Sugar Land have until tomorrow, July 31, to ‘Take a Free Ride’ on the Fort Bend Express located at 3301 Town Center Blvd, just south of 14000 University Blvd. in Sugar Land, Texas.

There is no charge for climbing aboard the ride on the Fort Bend Express, which has been running throughout July. One of several advantages of the scheme is that it provides residents with the opportunity to “go green” and enjoy a relaxing ride on route to their doctor’s office, the Texas Medical Center, or any other location on route.

This service is being offered courtesy of the Fort Bend County’s Transit, with several designated stops in Fort bend County and Houston. It is an annual event that has been welcome by a number of residents on each year of its operation. The round-trip journeys allow travelers to get off and on at any time. Transfers to the downtown Houston area are available on Houston Metro for a small additional fee. The service even provides curb-to-curb pickup and drop off services when in demand.

The express service can be boarded or departed in the parking lot of AMC Theatre or the Sugar Land Campus at the University of Houston. Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this free service to the public in Sugar Land. Schedules are available for those who want to seize their last chance to take advantage of this initiative. For more information, please visit the Fort Bend County Transit Service’s website.
