Great generosity underway in Mansfield

November 18, 2012 by

Mansfield is currently in the midst of a Thanksgiving Day Food Drive, hosted by the Mansfield Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit and will be rotating to various locations within the community, offering residents the opportunity to give generously this holiday season.

Non-perishable goods are appreciated and can be dropped off at any of a number of locations. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach children the value of giving during the holiday season and help the less fortunate to enjoy a wonderful Christmas as well.

This year residents are reminded that many families require assistance and are asking those who can to drop off non-perishable items at Kroger at WalMart at 930 N. Walnut at Creek Drive today, November 18th, Kroger at E. Debbie Lane and Matlock on Monday, November 19th, and Walmart again on Tuesday, November 20. All drop offs are between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm at all locations. During this holiday season, locals are urged to remember to support their local Mansfield Police Department’s food drive and give generously.

Poster printing services may have been used to advertise and promote this holiday food drive to households in this community and the surrounding area. This event is no cost, although donations are appreciated and everyone is welcome to take part. The Thanksgiving Day Food Drive began on Friday, November 16, and continues until Tuesday, November 20 at the locations listed above in Mansfield, Texas.
