John Leguizamo’s appears at the Cullen Theater this February

Several fans have invariably seen the advertisements regarding John Leguizamo’s appearance at the Cullen Theater this February. Print companies are printing up a storm detailing his past performances and anticipated Houston performance in his stand-up comic show entitled “John Leguizamo: Ghetto Klown” coming to Houston this February.

John Leguizamo is well-known for his several past performances—in movies, TV shows, stand-up specials and the voice of Sid in the movie Ice Age. John Leguizamo brings his show, Ghetto Klown, live to Houston as part of John Leguizamo’s 2012 US tour.

John Leguizamo’s show can be seen at the Wortham Center on February 24th at 8 pm. Critics rave that this show is his best yet. Ghetto Klown takes viewers through the tears of John’s early years in Queens, New York and brings laughter to the masses.

John Leguizamo takes you through his early years growing up in Queens and how he learned that by being funny, he could avoid getting beaten up. His show, Ghetto Klown, was originally called “Klass Klown.” It was from his humble beginnings that he learned about who he was and the man he was destined to become. Ghetto Klown gives viewers an intimate view of the inner makings of John Leguizamo.

His long-time friend, Fisher Stevens, is the producer of Ghetto Klown and serves to keep John Leguizamo in check. John’s passionate and brutal honesty is touching, appalling and hilariously funny. Viewers can see John Leguizamo at the Wortham Center and several other venues in the Houston area.
