Houston to present Star-Spangled Salute

The people of Houston are gearing up for a free day of fun early next month when the Star-Spangled Salute takes place at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The celebration will feature the Houston Symphony performing many patriotic favorites. Leading the symphony is Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski, who will present favorites such as ‘Olympic Fanfare and Theme’, ‘Pomp and Circumstance’, ‘American Salute’, and ‘America the Beautiful’. One of the all-time traditional holiday favorites, ‘1812 Overture’, will be performed along with the cannons at the hill top.

The popular duo of AJ Swearingen and Jonathan Beedle will perform a selection of Simon & Garfunkel hits as part of a much-anticipated tribute to the iconic folk duo.

As the Woodlands Show Chorus presents patriotic music, attendees should be prepared to see Betsy Ross, a live Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam joining the fun. Other entertainment will involve the Radio Disney Road Crew, the Pavilion Partners and the Woodlands Development Company.

Each guest at the event will receive an American flag and souvenirs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win some great prizes, such as Tommy Bahama’s Best Seats in the House with dinner for four and a $100 gift card from Market Street.

Printing companies are often called on to provide the print materials required to manage and promote events such as the holiday celebration. Poster printing is an effective way to advertise the upcoming activities and flyers can be posted across the region to quickly attract attention.
