Later this month, the Toyota Center in Houston will be the venue for the 62nd All Star Game. Included in the events will be the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge and Youth Jam, along with the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.

TNT will televise the game exclusively, while ESPN Radio also holds broadcasting rights. The reach is expected to cover more than 200 countries in over 40 languages.

Thirty NBA coaches were assembled to select 14 players by voting for seven basketball players in respective conferences including two guards, two players, and three front court players. Coaches could not vote for their own team players.

The NBA All-Star game is known to bring together the most talented players in the league for a competitive and high-spirited event. Events scheduled for Saturday night include Sears Shooting Stars, Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, Sprite Slam Dunk, and the Tack Bell Skills Challenge.

The Eastern Conference 2013 All-Star Team consists of well-known players including LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Boch, Luol Deng, Kevin Garnett, Tyson Chandler, Kyrie Irving, Joakim Noah, Rajon Rondo, Paul George, Jrue Holiday, and Dwyane Wade.

Players for the Western Conference 2013 All-Star team include Kobe Bryant, LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin, James Harden, Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant, Tony Parker, Chris Paul, Zach Randolph, David Lee, and Russell Westbrook.

Publicity methods for events of this nature often include flyer and poster printing for ease of communicating to the public. Flyers and posters can be hung and distributed throughout large regions to reach the masses.
