Haute Wheels to spin in Houston

March 20, 2013 by

This weekend, around 35 of Houston’s master chefs will roll onto the Houston Community College Southwest Campus to participate in Haute Wheels Houston.

The Food Truck Festival will present gourmet food, beer, wine, and a vendor village offering hundreds of food snacks, arts, crafts, and unique items, and gifts. Live music will also set the stage for food and fun.

Some of the most well-known and popular food truck companies will be participating in the Haute Wheels event. Angie’s Cake Balls and Cake Pops will serve up the tasty cake creations, while Bernie’s Burger Bus will bring good old-fashioned American burger and fries to the table – all made from scratch.

Chocolat d’Arte is chocolate with a Texas twist, including beautiful art made of the sweet treat and frozen fruit.

One of the most famous food trucks in Houston will be on hand to dish out the hot dogs, Coney Cruiser has been a tradition since 1923 and has quite a following of hot dog-scoffing aficionados.

With dozens of vendors scheduled, many are using printing services to prepare signage and handle business card printing. Vendors often have stores and businesses, so handing out business cards at events of this type has good potential in generating new business for them at their locations.

The organizers are seeking volunteers to assist with the Haute Wheels festival. Anyone interested in participating should either visit the entity’s website or call 713-557-5732. Tickets are also on sale via the Haute Wheels website.
