New tenant announced for Uptown Forum

The owners of Uptown Forum in Greenville have revealed the new occupier of the spot currently occupied by Calico Cat. After more than a quarter century in business, Calico Cat plans to close its doors on August 31.

In October, the retail space on the first floor will be taken over by CC & Co, an upscale boutique owned by Larry and Carrie Crowson. The Crowsons are also the owners of Supher Springs’ Lou Nell’s Fashions, which has been in operation since 1974. According to the Crowsons, shoppers will find both brands that they have seen at the Calico Cat, as well as other brands that have not previously been available in Greenville.

At the same time, Uptown Forum announced two new tenants who will be taking spaces on the second floor, replacing the Perkins Brothers Department Store. A massage therapy office, called Massage Matters and owned by the mother-daughter team of Lynda Holder and Leah Jones, will open in September. Blue Sky Group Realty will also open in the space, making this the first Greenville location of the company based in Longview.

When opening a new store, many companies use graphic design to create various items that invite customers to their business. They may also advertise raffles, giveaways, or special events. To learn more about Uptown Forum, visit their website.
