Greenville set to make a splash with March bash

December 14, 2013 by

The historic downtown area of Greenville in Texas will come alive in March with the 2014 Backstreet Bash. The event consists of many activities like to attract attendees, vendors, and participants from across the state, with a focus on music, art and crash, and fitness activities.

This year’s bash is going to be larger than previous years, according to event organizers. Live entertainment has been extended into the Saturday evening. Also planned is the return of CrossFit Fitness Competitions, which was a popular activity last year as many people competed in various fitness segments.

A ‘Bark’ section will again be part of the activities, where guests can bring dogs for friendly games and demonstrations. The 3rd Annual Hot Diggity Dog Jog 5K and the one-mile walk will be an enjoyable fundraising activity. The walk benefits efforts to tackle canine cancer in the community.

Vendors will offer goods, food, gifts, arts, crafts and other items at the bash. Frequently, vendors work with local print companies in preparing for participation in an outdoor event. Banner printing is often needed for the signage used in vendors’ booths or display areas.

Next year’s bash is scheduled to take place March 22-23, 2014 in Greenville. The organizing entity will have more information available online soon, as well as vendor applications. A Facebook page has been set up for the event, and those interested in the developments over the next few months should be sure to ‘like’ it.
