Greenville music fans in for a Tritt

October 6, 2012 by

In just over a month, country music recording star Travis Tritt will perform at the Municipal Auditorium located at 2821 Washington Street in Downtown Greenville, marking the final event of the 2012 Kenneth Threadgill Concert Series.

Tritt hit the country scene in the early 90s as something as of a rebel, as he refused to wear the standard cowboy hat while he diverted from the basic country music format into a southern rock style. He has had many top ten singles, three number one hits, and many albums that went platinum. Today, he spans the country, bringing his unique and intimate show while highlighting his acoustic talents, along with his strong and well-known voice, to various cities.

Appearing with Tritt is popular singer-songwriter Guy Forsyth, originally from Austin. Forsyth presents a variety of musical styles including rock, blues, folk, country, and general Americana. He also specializes in electric, acoustic, and slide guitar. Forsyth received Best Male Vocalist in 205 from Austin Music Awards.

A great deal of preparation goes into the planning and orchestration of touring concerts. Signage and other printing services are essential in promoting the event. Banner printing is a common project, as banners are used at all of the concerts, usually both externally and internally. They serve as a method of direction to specific areas for parking and entrance. Inside, they are used to reflect sponsorships, upcoming events, and seating areas.

With Travis Tritt coming to town on November 10, tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Greenville Main Street website. Complete information about this concert, as well as other Greenville events, can be found on the website as well.
