Georgetown celebrations set to stroll in

Established in 1980, the Christmas Stroll has been a much celebrated event in Georgetown, Texas and will once again provide families with holiday festivities this year.

The highlights of the event include the WhooVille area for the youngsters, Santa’s House, and Bethlehem Village. A parade filled with holiday lights, cheer, and characters will take place on Saturday, December 7, beginning at noon.

The venue for the Christmas Stroll is the Historic Downtown Square. The heart and soul of the community, the square offers theatee, historical sites, and music. Additionally, many upscale restaurants, shops, antique stores, and art galleries line the downtown area. Due to the inviting atmosphere of the Historic Downtown Square many events, are held in the region annually.

The Georgetown Christmas Stroll will take place on December 6 and 7. More than 135 vendors offering interesting and unique crafts and art will be on hand at the event. Local printers anticipate handling many projects for the vendors, as well as event organizers, such as banner printing and business card printing. Banners are used within the vendors’ areas to note the name and product of the vendor to entice visitors to stop by. They are also frequently used to guide traffic in outdoor venues. Business cards are used to distribute for the goal of developing future custom.
