Austin gets write into it

Book and writing enthusiasts from all around Austin, and surrounding cities such as Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Round Rock, have been given the chance to participate in a respectable and altogether prestigious event later this year as ‘A Room of Her Own’ comes to Austin for its second biennial conference.

The city of Austin, Texas is well known for both its political and creative movements and one of the many reasons for the founding of A Room of Her Own is to be a creative outlet for women writers across the United States.

A Room of Her Own is a creative organization aimed at helping women writers around the United States with their art and work. It has provided $80,000 in grants to women authors who have completed a single book project. The Conference in itself will provide funding from its proceeds for this organization.

Printing companies are likely to print several different products, using services such as catalog printing in order to allow attendees to see a schedule of when and where they can find their favorite authors. One can expect to see upscale and popular authors such as Mary Johnson, Liz Belile, Amanda Eyre Ward, and many more.

The ‘A Room of Her Own’ Conference is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 6 in Austin, Texas. Ticket prices are $110 for each ticket and can be paid by check or via credit card or PayPal. More information can be found at the A Room of Her Own home page under the Retreats and Conferences menu.
