Tuscon to offer hope to families in need

October 25, 2012 by

This weekend’s ‘Hope Fest’ is an annual event that happens in this community each year and consists of local agencies, individuals, and organizations coming together to organize and provide thousands of needy people with free groceries, clothing, haircuts, lunch, dental services, medical services, and other services with the hope that a ‘hand up’ is a way out.

This annual festival is now in its 19th year and is renowned for its efforts to assist children, parents, and families in need. This mission was built on the relationships established and the partnerships developed between local leaders and organizations that now work hand-in-hand to meet the needs of the underserved. This special event brings together non-profits, churches, government, community organizations, and individuals who want to assist those who need it. This annual event serves thousands of people in need each year, providing them the opportunity to enjoy the things they may lack during the remainder of the year.

Poster printing, postcard printing, and flyer printing by local print companies may have been used to promote this event to people in the community, as well as the surrounding communities that are willing to help out or in need.

The 19th annual Hope Fest is free to attend and will be happening on Saturday, October 27, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Kino Stadium located at 2500 E. Ajo Way in Tucson, Arizona. For additional information about what services are being offered at this annual event, please visit the Hope Fest website, services page, or call the office at 520-751-4673 during business hours.
