July 4 festival sure to attract Arizonans

On Wednesday, July 4th, Tempe will be hosting its annual July 4th Lake Festival at Tempe Beach Park located at 620 N. Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. This event begins at 5:00 pm and runs until 11:00 pm.

This spectacular event provides fun and entertainment for the entire family and is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe as a holiday celebration. It is one of the best fireworks displays in the Phoenix Metro area and never fails to draw a huge crowd.

At this event, there are several happenings to enjoy, including the firework show, the Family Fun Fest, and the tasteful Food Court, plus an entertainment line-up that beats all. At the Family Fun Fest there is a free inflatable village, a variety of rides, kids’ entertainment, face painting, relay races, and rock climbing walls. The Food Court features hamburgers, hot dogs, Macayo’s Depot Cantina, a BBQ, fry bread, snow cones, roasted corn, lemonade and all sorts of other treats. The main stage will be rocking with plenty of well-known bands and performances, including Piped in Music, Poppy & The Usual Suspects, J.J. Linford, Something Like Seduction, Grand Theft Audio, and Lil’ Debbie Band. The national anthem will also be performed.

Tickets for this event are $6 for adults and children aged 12 and under are free. Tickets are available at Fry’s stores, although some portions of this event have additional charges.
