Horse lovers in Scottsdale and surrounding areas are invited to attend the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show later starting later this week. The event will be the largest of its kind in the world with hundreds of thousands of spectators expected to attend. Owners, trainers, riders, and simple enthusiasts will converge on Scottsdale to show off and admire the best that Arabian horses have to offer.

The horse show will feature competitions and educational seminars, and attendees will also have a chance to attend parties and to sample international cuisine. Besides the horses, show sponsors expect to have over 300 booths with vendors offering homemade jewelry, crafts and other equine arts.

More than 2,400 horses (and their breeders, trainers, and owners) will compete in a wide variety of competitions with the ultimate award resulting in a newly crowned Scottsdale Champion. Some of the proceeds from the show will go to Cox Charities and the March of Dimes.

The horse show will provide an excellent opportunity for those who love horses to take plenty of pictures, which many may find useful for poster printing.

The Horse Show will be held Thursday, February 13 through Sunday, February 23rd at WestWorld of Scottsdale at 16601 N Pima Rd. Admission is $10 per day for adults, seniors and military $7, and children under 12 get in free. Parking is free.
