A popular pre-Thanksgiving tradition is set to continue in Scottsdale. This weekend, the annual ArtFest event will be returning to Civic Center Plaza for its 20th year. Stationery printing may still be on the rise as the organizers of this outdoor gathering reach out to the artists and entertainers who have signed up to participate.

Nearly 200 talented vendors from across the country will be on hand to sell their creations. This year’s featured artists and craftsmen will include painters JC Pino and Danny Hughes, sculptor Roberto Gutierrez, and potter Marvin Blackmore. A number of authors from the Phoenix area will be showcasing their written work as well.

ArtFest will feature live musical entertainment from two stages, with performers including Jazz Alliance, Smokewagon, Scott Dooley, and Jack Alves.

Attendees will be able to sample a wide variety of foods as they stroll through the sculpture-filled park. Children will enjoy art-related activities in their own area of the grounds. Visitors will be welcome to bring their dogs to the event, provided that these furry friends are leashed and well-behaved.

Those who attend ArtFest will also be encouraged to explore the museums, shops, and restaurants located within walking distance from the plaza.

The festivities will take place on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, running from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on both days. Admission and parking will be free.

The Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza is located at 7380 East Second Street, close to Indian School Road.
