Phoenix readying for home improvement expo

April 14, 2013 by

Phoenix area residents who are looking to give their homes and yards a cosmetic lift will soon be in luck.

Toward the end of the month, the Maricopa County Home and Landscape Show will arrive in the city. Business card printing is likely in higher demand as exhibitors prepare to interact with potential new customers at this three-day event.

Homeowners will have the opportunity to view more than 1,000 exhibits to get ideas on how to improve their gardens, kitchens, bathrooms, and more. Representatives from a variety of companies will be on hand to answer general questions, provide estimates, and set up consultation appointments. Attendees will be able to participate in raffle drawings to win gift cards and other prizes.

Some well-known experts will be present at the event. Drew and Jonathan Scott, who star in the series Property Brothers on the Home and Garden Television network, will host several seminars and ‘meet and greets’ with fans. Local radio personalities Rosie and Romey will also be giving home improvement presentations and offering advice.

Children will be welcome at the expo. Kids between the ages of three and 12 will be invited to enter a coloring contest and become eligible to win gift cards from Toys ‘R’ Us.

The Maricopa County Home and Landscape Show will take place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds (1826 West McDowell Road). It will run from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28, open from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on Sunday.
