Arizonans are in for a Sunday special, as the Olive Oil 101 Tour takes place at Queen Creek Olive Mill located at 25062 South Meridian Road in Queen Creek, just down the road from Mesa, Arizona. Tours on June 3 are scheduled to run every hour between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

Olive Oil 101 Tours are half-hour learning excursions through the Queen Creek Olive Mill. These tours are not only educational, but also stacks of fun for the entire family. During the Olive Mill tour, guests will learn about the history of the farm, as well as the mill, how Queen Creek’s signature olive oils are made, and why it is important to support local products for sustainable farming and economic development. After the tour, guests are invited to an olive oil tasting that includes stuffed peppers and tapenades. While sampling the olive oil, guest will be able to browse the Queen Creek Gourmet Market to purchase a few products, as well as pick up some tasty and free recipe cards to try at home.

Guests to Queen Creek Olive Mill will leave knowing why Arizona is the best location for growing olives which create fantastic, high-quality EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). Visitors will also be provided with the opportunity to ask their tour guides questions about the products. Brochure printing and other stationery printing products might well have been used to promote this event.

The tour costs $5 per person and group tours are available as well. For more information, please visit Queen Creek Olive Mill’s website or call 480-888-9290 during regular business hours.
