Wine and fine food sees weekend in

October 17, 2012 by

One of a series of dinners that offers a full four-course meal, plus treats during the reception from renowned chef Patrick Karvis, the upcoming ‘Wine & Dinner Series’ presents fine wines from the Napa Valley, California to be enjoyed by all. Truchard Vineyards has an international reputation for fine wines, and an appropriate wine is paired with each course served.

This is an exciting way to experience the culinary delights of Chef Patrick and the Truchard Winery. The evening’s starters include mini crab cakes with an avocado salsa, kobe meatballs with béarnaise sauce followed by the first course, then second course, which consists of lobster, duck comfit, crab and pancetta served with yellow tomato sauce, beggar’s pouch of rock shrimp, and lingonberry and grilled radicchio served with crispy boursin cheese. Course three consists of pickled rhubarb, red-wine truffle sauce served over sweet breads, and Yukon gold caraway potatoes. This delightful menu is followed by an absolutely sinful dessert. A portion of this evening’s event is to celebrate Chef Karvis’ birthday – his 38th.

Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to promote this luxurious dinner and wine event to the residents of the community and surrounding regions. The price for each ticket is $65 and everyone to have a taste of some irresistible food.

The dinner is being held this Friday, October 19, starting at 6:30 pm at the Wildhorse Grill inside the Talking Stick Golf Club located at 9998 E. Indian Bend Road, in the Salt River Reservation, outside Gilbert, Arizona. For additional information or tickets, please visit the Talking Stick Golf Club’s website or call 480-850-8622.
