Gilbert to host ‘A Night at the Museum’

March 20, 2014 by

Coming this weekend, the Gilbert Historical Museum will be hosting a fundraising event called ‘A Night at the Museum – Gilbert Comes Alive’. Dinner will be served, along with musical entertainment and a reception featuring a live auction.

The Gilbert Historical Museum (the only local landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places) has been recording the rich history of the town of Gilbert for several generations and hopes to continue the tradition for generations to come. To help make that happen, the museum will be holding a fundraising event that should prove both fun and entertaining for all who attend.

Attendees may wish to bring cameras to capture images of some of the items on view at the museum and use them for unique business card printing, be it digital or traditional. The dinner will be catered by BRIO Tuscan Grille. Guests will be encouraged to look around through all the rooms at the museums, some of which are rumored to be haunted.

A Night at the Museum will be held this Saturday, March 22, at 6:00 pm at the Gilbert Historical Museum. Tickets are $100. Items up for bid at the live auction will include items donated by local organizations such as Phoenix Suns Tickets, a paranormal investigation at the museum, Disneyland passes, and VISA gift cards.
