Acoustic duo scheduled for August performance

On Saturday, August 11, JC and Laney will be joined by their special guest, Marconias, at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts located at 4132 E. Pecos Road in Gilbert, Arizona. This performance is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.

JC Scott and Laney Greynolds are an acoustic singer/songwriter duo hailing from Arizona. Guests will enjoy a fantastic evening with this dynamic duo that never fails to provide entertainment and dazzle the audience with their special renditions of emotionally-charged, direct, and subtle Americana songs with their tongue-in-cheek lyrics. The songs are unique, yet recognizable, with memorable vocals.

JC, a solo artists since 1990, now has five CD releases under his belt and has performed with everyone from Lindsey Buckingham to Arlo Gutherie. Laney, former lead singer of the group Saddletramp, has been energizing and exciting audiences since 1995. After a chance meeting with JC, singing together became fate. Produced by Steve Wood, this duo has now released three studio albums in two short years.

Special guest Marconias, born in California, is an outstanding bluegrass mandolin player who jams four times a month and is a player in the band “The Unusual Suspect.” He has a long list of adoring fans, following him from venue to venue. Flyer printing and postcard printing may have been used to promote this performance.
