Art complements Christmas shopping in Chandler

December 3, 2012 by

The Holiday Arts Festival has no doubt been promoted throughout the community using various printing services and is a great shopping opportunity just in time for the coming Christmas season.

This is the 9th annual Arts Festival and features some quality and original artwork covering a range of media. It is a great last minute shopping extravaganza, especially for those hard-to-buy-for people who everybody has on their list.

The artwork in this festival was created by some outstanding local artists and features unique pottery, hand designed jewelry, original paintings, stunning photography, delicate art glass works, various fiber arts, amazing bead work, and decorative gourds. There will be special homemade cookies, and a soup and sandwich café available, as well as some wonderful live music to keep everybody entertained while they shop.

Proceeds from this event will benefit local charities, as well as the VUU’s mission to nurture each person’s spiritual trip for creating a place for peace and celebration, sustainable living, and social justice. The opportunity to support the community’s local artisans and get the festive shopping completed early this year is one not to be missed.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend the Holiday Arts Festival, which will be happening on Saturday, December 8, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation located at 6400 West Del Rio in Chandler, Arizona. To find out more about the event, please visit the Holiday Arts Festival website or call 480-899-4249.
