Peach festival returning to Casa Grande area

May 9, 2013 by

Individuals and families from the Casa Grande area are invited to attend a fun-filled event at a local fruit orchard.

Later this month, the annual Peach Festival will be taking place at Schnepf Farms in nearby Queen Creek. Printing services are likely being used to create promotional materials for this community tradition.

The festival will offer entertainment for all ages, including a peach pie-eating contest, live music, a roller coaster, and a carousel. Attendees will have the opportunity to take hay rides around the Schnepf property and pick their own peaches. They will also be able to attend a ‘Peachy Pancake Breakfast’ during either the morning or early afternoon hours. In addition, they will have the chance to visit a sampling tent and try peach-based pastries, peach-flavored candies, and other treats.

Vendors will be on hand to sell additional food items, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and salads. Schnepf Farms’ Country Store and Bakery, which offers gifts and fresh-baked goods, will be open for business as well. Attendees will also want to visit the Farmers’ Market and ‘UPICK’ organic garden, where a variety of fresh produce items will be available for sale.

The Peach Festival will be held on May 18, 19, 25, 26, and 27. It will be open from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm on each of these days, and there will be no charge for admission.

The address for Schnepf Farms is 24810 South Rittenhouse Road. Those in need of directions or additional details may call (480) 987-3100.
