Arts and crafts fair arriving in Casa Grande for the holidays

Casa Grande residents will not need to travel far to pick up some unique holiday gifts this year. Just a few days before Christmas, the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance will be holding an arts and crafts festival at the city’s Promenade Shopping Center. Business card printing may be on the rise as the artisans who plan to participate in this event prepare to mingle with customers.

More than 50 exhibitors will be on hand at the show, which has become a winter tradition in Casa Grande over the past several years. Attendees will be able to peruse booths filled with items like sculptures, oil paintings, jewelry. Several craftsmen will also be selling tables, chairs, and other types of furniture. Many of the items for sale at the fair will be fashioned in a rustic Southwestern style.

In addition to artwork and handicrafts, visitors will find a variety of snack items and beverages available for purchase. A number of vendors will be setting up shop on the festival grounds, keeping attendees well-fed as they hunt for souvenirs and Christmas presents.

Children will be welcome at the event. The fair’s youngest guests will enjoy hands-on activities that encourage them to uncover their own artistic talents.

The arts and crafts festival will take place on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22. It will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on the Saturday and from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm on the Sunday. Admission will be free.

The shopping center is located at 1005 North Promenade Parkway.
