Fifth Third Bank recently opened a new location in southeast Raleigh, North Carolina inside the Kroger store on Martin Luther King Boulevard at address 1610. The Bank is no doubt using banner printing and flyer printing to make the local community aware of the new financial center that will be opened seven days a week and until 8:00 p.m. on weekdays.

According to Tom Heiks, the North Carolina market president of Fifth Third Bank, the Bank is looking forward to serving the financial needs of the community in southeast Raleigh by offering extended hours and being opened on weekends so that a high quality banking experience can be enjoyed by those in the Triangle.

The district manager for Kroger Mid-Atlantic, Shannon Toth, added that having the Fifth Third Bank in one of the stores in Raleigh will be an asset to the community, enabling people to do their banking at the same time that they do their shopping.

There will be eight people working at the new location in Raleigh and will include Kimberly Edwards, the Financial Center Manager, and Ernie Signala, a Mortgage Lender.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Attending the ceremony were executives from Kroger, the Fifth Third Bank senior management team from North Carolina, and leaders from the local community. The general public was invited to attend.

The grand opening also included a donation of $5,300 made jointly by the Fifth Third and Kroger to Urban Ministries. In addition, Kroger supplied two pallets of food items to the local community to combat hunger.
