Durham Chamber to hold workshop with US Small Business Administration

February 3, 2012 by

The Durham Chamber of Commerce is hosting an ambitious workshop called “Starting, Expanding or Helping Your Business in Tough Times” on the 22nd.

When it comes to staying in operation, business owners are aware of how important it is to have capital. While “the big picture” doesn’t often cost a lot, smaller details like flyer printing, stationery printing, or even just the securing of printing services do add up over time.

Although the workshop is only going to run for an hour, the title of this presentation alone proves that there’s plenty of information to be gleaned from it. If the chamber’s website is anything to go by, “Starting, Expanding or Helping Your Business in Tough Times” is summed up as follows:

“Ivan P. Hankins, Senior Area Manager of the U.S. Small Business Administration will talk about what the U.S. Small Business Administration can do for you if you need money, free professional consulting and government contract assistance. Hear about the new changes and loan programs that might benefit you. Afterwards, there will be a Q& A session where you find out the best plan for your business!

Join us for this free educational session, where you’ll be able to learn and ask questions that can help your business today!” (sic.)

Starting at 8:30 am and expected to continue until 9:30 am, this morning event has been planned to suit the needs of busy entrepreneurs.

Consider signing up and putting in an appearance for this free workshop today. The content alone will be worth it.
