Tom Murray headlines Metro Chapter Lunch

April 4, 2012 by

Business owners have both a networking event and an informative presentation to attend with Business After Hours and the Metro Chapter Lunch taking place over the course of the next few weeks.

Out of these two events, Business After Hours is the first on the calendar, being held on the 19th. Starting at 5:30pm and expected to conclude around two hours later at 7:30pm, business owners and talented professionals have the option of getting to know one another in a no-pressure setting. While the refreshments and fun prizes are definite fixtures at these events, the venues are regularly changed.

For this next Business After Hours meeting, Charlotte Knights is the chosen location. As is par for the course at these events, business card printing, flyer printing, and brochures are all items that attendees can’t go wrong bringing.

Interestingly enough, the Metro Chapter Lunch also has all the hallmarks of a constructive meeting as well. With an official date of April 24th, members of Charlotte’s business community have the option of coming in and hearing what Tom Murray of Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority has to say. As the organization’s new CEO, Mr. Murray will be talking about what’s happening in Charlotte’s tourist industry and will be giving his input on what the Democratic National Convention means for the city as a whole.

Whether local entrepreneurs are hoping to get some networking done this month or are interested in hearing about how the tourist industry is likely to impact the rest of the city, the chamber has an appropriate occasion.
