The tattoo is an art-form that has been in existence since the beginnings of mankind and, today, the entire world has been impacted by this unique form of art, which has given rise to a culture of its own. This summer, 2012, the Charlotte Metrolina Expo Center will be the location of a grand celebration of the tattoo and its culture.

The Inkfest Live Tattoo Expo 2012, a one of a kind expo that aims to feature the best tattoo artists in the world, is coming to Charlotte this weekend, July 20 – 22. Though tattoos will be at the core of the expo, the entire culture will also be celebrated. This year’s tour will feature award-winning tattoo artists Carl Grace, Gabriel Gunz, Nick Cacc, Tony Scientific, Danny Fugate, and Mr. Rich, hailing from all over the United States.

As the Expo Center will be the site of many vendors and networking opportunities, tattoo artists seeking to promote themselves may want to invest in business card printing. In addition to the seminars that focus on the techniques and approaches used in live tattooing, the tour this year will also feature extreme world wrestling, a BMX bike show, a human suspension show, and breakdancing competitions.

Tickets to the event are on sale and may be purchased at various rates: $10 for a one-day pass, $20 for a three-day pass, and $35 for a three-day pass with access to the VIP lounge. Children aged 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by adults.
