Residents and visitors to Snellville last weekend found themselves having a great time, as the Snellville Fall Festival was hosted. A popular annual event presented by Snellville Tourism and Trade (STAT), many local businesses and music acts took part in the celebrations.

The festival, the biggest since the event came to town, saw more than 80 booths offering local arts and crafts, as well as many food stalls. Laid out the length of Oak Road and across Towne Green and the City Hall lawn, many people enjoyed themselves.

Local companies were also out in force, celebrating the season and getting their message across. With print shops across the area helping create an atmosphere with banner printing too, the fine weather also helped move the occasion along.

Some of the most popular events on show were the contests, eagerly entered by many. From awarding the best pie, Halloween costume, and scarecrow, there was much fun had by all.

Other events taking up the spooky season mantle saw the hayrides eagerly enjoyed, while kids and adults alike had fun on the bungee jump, inflatables, and spaceball rides.

The STAT event also saw many local musicians light up the show. Headlining, the Fineline Band gave a great performance, while also taking to the stage were the Celtic Dance Company, the CC Express & Clog Squad, and First Baptist Aristocats.

Completing the on-stage entertainment and giving great fun and laughter to the younger audience in the crowd, the Acting Up Theatre put on a popular puppet show.
