Atlanta Boat Show celebrates 50th anniversary

The Atlanta Boat Show, sponsored by Progressive Insurance, celebrates its 50th anniversary this year as one of the premier destinations for boating enthusiasts and consumers. Taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center, this four day event provides a wide array of activities and attractions.

Individuals interested in recreational activities associated with boating such as water sports and fishing will enjoy several booths offering information and entertainment. The Power Boat Docking Challenge will afford experienced and novice boaters alike to improve their docking techniques using a remote control boat situated in a small pond. Educational seminars teaching visitors about preventative vessel maintenance and care will also be conducted, while Fred’s Shed will house technicians addressing specific repair concerns of visitors. A section for kids known as Kids Cove will allow children to indulge their love of boating and fun through bounce houses, bungee jumps and learning activities.

For the first time in its history, the Atlanta Boat Show will also present a 200,000 gallon wake park, the largest in the United States. Divided into two pools containing obstacle courses, the park is designed for wakeboard riders and will also include an aerial showcase of flips and somersaults conducted by Liquid Force’s Global Team through the use of a cable system.

Approximately 25,000 to 35,000 attendees are expected. This event presents the opportunity for metro Atlanta printers, like those located in Roswell, to offer flyer printing services for the various booths, sponsors and companies attending the event. Such prints can be used to provide visitors with more information about the products and services offered by such companies.
