Annual fundraiser for kids coming up in PTC

December 2, 2013 by

The seventh running of the Annual Chair-Ity Event is taking place later this week; with all of the money raised from the gala heading straight to helping out children in need in Peachtree City.

Organizers are hoping that last year’s total of $72,000 will be topped in 2013.

The event, which will include a veritable galaxy of entertainment, is fundraising for the Children’s Village. A safe and secure collection of homes based at The Dolce Atlanta on Aberdeen Parkway, it helps children that have previously been abused in their young lives. Since it was created, it has come to the aid of more than 1,000 neglected young people.

Stationery printing is likely to have been taking place, with local printers in the area backing the cause to make sure people know about this worthy event.

A number of local business professionals are expected to attend. With the opportunity to win a state-of-the-art golf buggy likely to attract many hackers and fairway fliers too, it is a great way to tee off the holiday season.

Tickets for the raffle are priced at $25, and are available on the day or in advance. The cost of the ticket also covers the food and drink, which will be offered butler style. There will also be a silent auction.

Entering into the season, the theme is Winter Wonderland, and the entertainment will be provided by the Rick Massengale Jazz Trio.

The event takes place on Thursday December 5, with everyone invited to drop in any time from 5:30 pm through 7:30 pm. Business casual is the dress code order of the day.
