Nature and craft come together in Roswell

February 13, 2014 by

‘I Love Nature’, featuring Dave Holland, is a fun-filled event offering entertainment for the entire family this weekend.

This is a musical, craft, and learning event with instruments provided for everyone to play and enjoy. Valentine and nature crafts will also be happening. The promoters of this Mother Nature event have probably used poster printing and other printing services to share it with the people in this community and the surrounding regions.

Families are invited to come and enjoy making music, or just making some noise as they participate, in family drumming and rhythm at this musical extravaganza. The instruments will be provided by Dave Holland and he will lead the group through the songs.

At noon, families will enjoy making a special Valentine for a loved one, including a hand-drawn picture and special message. After this, families will enjoy creating their own birdhouse from recycled items that can be taken home with them.

This event will be followed by an ‘Ask Mother Nature’ session about such matters as what makes trees grow. There will be fun storytelling as well, plus a question-and-answer period.

The cost is $10 per adult, $7 per senior and students, and $6 per child over the age of two. It will be occurring on Saturday, February 15, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Chattahoochee Nature Center located at 9135 Willeo Road in Roswell, Georgia, a short drive from Marietta.
