Duluth voted best small town

November 2, 2012 by

The City of Duluth has been voted as the most favored place for a small town concert, following a competition run by popular Atlanta radio station 97.1 The River.

Run in association with a popular drinks manufacturer, the title was awarded after the city accumulated the highest number of votes from listeners of the radio station.

For many businesses and residents in the city, the award will be no surprise, with the well-famed atmosphere and vibrancy generated around events here. To celebrate the award, Duluth will put on yet another great show this Sunday, November 4.

Fittingly, the event will take place in the Historic heartland of the city, on Duluth Town Green – the venue of many a spectacular time over the years. With a terraced lawn and the Festival Center Ampitheater, it is tailor-made for concerts and musical performances.

For the ‘Diet Mountain Dew Best Small Town in North Georgia’ award, banner printing and poster printing will no doubt transform the green into a typically celebratory place, for a great music show.

The headline act will be English Nick and the River Rats, with more live music provided by Doctor Bombay. There will be much more going on than the great tunes though. Local vendors will also be serving up fine food and drink, and the kids will not be left out. Inflatables and other activities will be available to make the event go with a real bang.

Everyone is invited and, with free admission, the noon through 4:00 pm show is likely to be a popular kick-starter to fall 2012.
