Metro Atlanta Chamber provides opportunities for local business people

With the Power Networking Luncheon and the “We Do the Reading for You” series, Atlanta professionals have the option of getting really plugged in to the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

Starting on the 7th and taking place every week after that, “We Do the Reading for You” is a joint effort of School for Startups and the UGA Terry College of Business. As explained by the site, Jim Beach and Chris Hanks of these two organizations respectively are going to be reading from a chosen selection of books geared towards small business owners.

In light of all the work that goes into running a business, however, not all entrepreneurs have the time to read on a regular basis. “We Do the Reading for You” ensures that those attending get all the information included in those books even if they aren’t able to go through the chapters during the week. Whether the company utilizes the principles being pointed out or not, this is a valuable service.

Going from 8:00 am to 10:30 am during each session, the event has been scheduled conveniently. The fact that it’s free for members makes it an even more attractive option.

For a meet-up that requires business card printing, Atlanta entrepreneurs may want to consider going to the Power Networking Lunch on the 28th. With Two Urban Licks being the chosen venue, local professionals will be able to connect with one another while enjoying great food. Priced at $12 for members and $50 for non-members, this is another event worth looking into.
