West Palm Beach set to celebrate local lagoon

September 23, 2017 by

This autumn, West Palm Beach will be the site for an event that will show some love to Lake Worth Lagoon.

LagoonFest will be back for its fourth year, and the public is invited to come out and explore the relationship between the lagoon, the ecosystem it supports, and the connection between it and the community. There will be an assortment of booths and other displays set up that will showcase the role this body of water plays in the area, and the importance of ensuring that the urban estuary is protected.

Along with the displays and exhibits, there will be plenty of other action for the public to enjoy. Performers will bring live music to the venue, and there will be wildlife presentations, activities for the kids, tours of the lagoon, and an area for water sports. Vendors will be on site with products and services to browse through, all with a goal of helping to keep the Lake Worth Lagoon healthy and thriving. A printer will be able to supply reusable cloth banners and other decorative promotional products for an event like this.

November 4 has been selected as the date for this event, which will be held on the West Palm Beach waterfront. Anyone who is interested in finding out more is invited to visit the festival’s website.
