New exhibit place for artists in Pompano Beach

ArtHall is the latest art space to open in Pompano Beach. Located at the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Business Resource Center, the space will feature a new artist each month from May through October. ArtHall is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

The first artist to be featured is Nzingah Oniwason, who will be exhibiting her “Beyond Black: The Proverb Series” and “Impressions” displays. The opening reception for her exhibit took place on May 23 and each new artist will be introduced at a reception which will be held on the third Wednesday of each month.

Art is something everyone should be able to access, as it helps to distract from the problems of the day. Many artists also do not get the recognition they deserve, so having one more space to exhibit means more of them will be recognized by the community. Those who use the services of the CRA Business Resource Center will also have access to those artists and may well want to commission artwork for a time when they will have their own business space. It would be good business sense for exhibiting artists to make sure they have a business card. Printing several and distributing them at the opening reception and throughout the center will let those Pompano Beach businesspeople know how to contact them.

The CRA Business Resource Center offers business loans, job placement services and business training. Their Business Incubator allows small businesses to share space and resources.
